LOBDELL, Catherine Frances passed away February 21, 2017.  Cathy was born January 3rd 1927 to Bill and Myrtle Le Doux. As she lay in her crib happily blowing drool bubbles she soon acquired her nickname, Bubbles, by which she was known all her life. She grew up in Spokane, attending parochial grade schools and graduated in 1945, from Marycliff High school. She met Raymond Lobdell as a young girl and eventually they were reacquainted in high school while he attended Roger’s. They married after World War II and the next few years’ Dad remained in the Navy, lived on various naval bases from Long Beach CA to Bremerton WA. Finally settling in Spokane, they enjoyed seventy-two years together, never moving from St. Francis Xavier Parish. Bubbles loved to sew, read, play cards (especially Pan Guinea-similar to rummy), socialize (a party’s not a party until Bubbles gets there), and kiss babies. She is survived by her loving husband Ray, her three children, Cheryl(Tom), Steve, (Rogena), Patrick(Bill) and her much beloved grandchildren Molly(Derek), Jody(Arron), Briana(Paul), and Chalise. Equally adored were all her loving great-grandchildren and cherished nieces and nephews. Mom is also survived by two brothers who reside in Spokane, Bill (Sharon) Le Doux as well as Harvey (Janet) Le Doux. In keeping with her love of children donations in her name to Vanessay Behan crises nursery, in lieu of flowers, would be greatly appreciated. “Bubbles, tell Babe (her deceased BFF) to get the pan deck shuffled, there’s gonna be a hot game in Heaven tonight!”  A Vigil Service will be held at 7 P.M. Monday, February 27, 2017 at Hennessey Funeral Home Rose Chapel.  A Funeral Mass will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Empire Avenue and Standard Street.  Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
