Sunday, July 16,2017 the world became a darker place with the loss of Diana Mary Walton Smith. Diana was the beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister- big and little, Auntie, niece, cousin, and best friend to all others. She was our sparkles and glitter princess. We all knew her dream of becoming a mom burned bright and was her lifelong goal and her light shines brightly in Knox, her new born son’s eyes. Her passion to be part of people’s lives started young with her ‘flamingo gang’ and as she got older, part of the ‘blonde squad’, the TL shopping therapy crew, and she created her ultimate gang, TeamMDK. She will always be in our hearts and souls. TeamMDK forever and always.  Visitation will be held on Friday July 21, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 PM at Hennessey Funeral Home on Division.  Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace at 4:30 on Friday.  A celebration of Diana’s life will be held on Saturday July 22 at the Genesis Church located at 9315 N Nevada St, Spokane at 1:00 PM.  To leave a note for the family please visit hennesseyfuneralhomes.com
