Glenn and Denise, you know how much we enjoyed having Dotty at our family gatherings and wedding showers for Amanda and Coleen.
She always had such fun sharing the great times with your special family.
I remember she would always bring a gift for the hostess which made us feel very appreciated! She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.....💞

Dave and Family - I didn't know your mom, in fact Dave is the only family member I know. I saw Dave's FB post with your mom's memorial information, read Dave's tribute and also the information about her life. Dave, you had already given me a picture into what a vibrant, wonderful lady your mom was, and still was, but this picture, the music, the other information expanded that picture. I hope that it will be encouraging and comforting to all of you that as I looked at the picture you chose (what a great picture), listened to music and read a little more about her life, it brought a smile to my face. I have the feeling she brought smiles to the faces of many, many people during her life and happiness and security into the lives of her sons and other people who had the privilege of knowing her. I'm sorry for your loss! No matter the circumstances, losing loved ones is painful. I pray you feel God's comfort and presence, - His love!

I am going to miss you mom. I am glad I got to talk to you on the phone Tuesday August 1st to say I love you. Wow 94 years young. I just thought you were going to be here forever. Things I remember growing up is how great a job you did as a single parent, for me that was from age 5 until junior high.
The crazy things I remember as an elementary student: As an elementary student you were very influential. You said you were proud of us when we visited other people's homes and we did not touch things. I got perfect attendance for 6 or 7 years for attending Sunday school and got a pin for each year. That would not have happened without you.

Working at KXLY you were the face of the company when people walked in. The DJ's from the radio side gave you the 45's they weren't using and you brought them home. You got an old microphone and a wooden stand to put on a table top so I could turn the sound down on the baseball game of the week and do my own broadcast. We got to go to everything that happened at the Spokane Coliseum with tickets KXLY gave you (circus, Spokane Jets hockey, roller derby, ice capades. Nice perk for us. Someone wrote me and said wasn't she the dialing for dollars lady on TV.

15-20 kids on our ElmStreet block. There were always kids at our house. Daryl Parsons and I for sure. We were the football field plus Jorges' lawn and two other neighbors houses in the front yards. You let me use our front and back lawn for a golf course that I cut out holes in the ground for cat food cans to fit into and you gave me swizzle sticks for numbering the holes.

You came to football games and baseball games when I was in high school. I remember when we won you said, "yippie yippie you" but if we lost don't talk to me for awhile. Every day for three years in high school, John Akiyama and Kevin and Les Merriman would stop by our house to pick me up to walk to school together. They said they miss you. John said you were like his 2nd mom.
It was fun golfing with you at Sundance Golf course and playing Par 3 golf at Pine Acres.
There is too much for here but you did a great job raising us and I appreciate everything. Love you and miss you.

David and Glenn and families, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was such a vibrant person, who will be missed. We both worked at Holy Family at the same time and I saw her quite often. I have fond memories of her while growing up. You were very lucky to have such a wonderful mom. Again, please accept my condolences. Karla

Thank you Karla. Remember when we went to KXLY studio and had a picture taken with Timmy and Lassie?
