Jack Leroy Cooper was born on June 5, 1937 to Walter H. and Fern A. Cooper. He graduated from Millwood Elementary and West Valley High Schools in Spokane, Washington, then served an enlistment in the United States Army before attending Eastern Washington University.
He combined his love of people and electronics into a long and successful career in sales and marketing in Spokane and the Inland Empire. In the 1990’s he joined his wife as owner/manager of Davis & Hosch Music Company until the company was sold and became Spokane’s Steinway Piano Gallery.
He is survived by Normalu, his wife of 56 years, son Jeffrey Scott, daughter Jody Lee, sister Norma Jean Sander, brother-in-law Willis, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, various nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Jack Alan Cooper, his parents, and brother Richard Duane Cooper.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 10:00 A. M. at Westside Nazarene Church, W. 2820 Francis Avenue in Spokane.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Shriners’ Children’s Hospital in Spokane.
