We just finished the reception at the River Inn for Louie. There was an opportunity for those who wanted to share memories, and I almost stood up. It was inspiring hearing all the stories. I want to share my thoughts here.
I know a lot of stories of the kind of home Louie grew up in, as it was the same home I grew up in, though not at the same time. To see the kind of life he lived, it’s easy for me to say he was an overcomer. It was through our dad I learned how not to treat a lady, but I learned how to be a gentleman from watching Louie. Those life lessons I will always cherish. Thank you Louie for everything.

Orlando and I would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of your father. We just saw his obituary in the Sunday paper today.your dad always made us laugh. We think back to days of yesteryear fondly. Who knew these were going to be some of the best memories of our lives. Sending prayers for healing Deena although as you know we never truly heal we just learn to go on. God Bless and hope your journey in life is all you wish for and when you think of us you smile as we do of you and your dad..❤️

Uncle Louie, Though there have been many years since I've seen you in person and many miles between us I don't think a day has gone by that I've not thought of you and other family in Washington. I've been going through a lot of memories and realize you always seemed to be looking out for and bring happiness to others no matter what you might have been going through yourself.

Though you are loved and greatly missed in this life, I like to think you are enjoying a family reunion with others that have gone before you. Until we meet again may you rest in peace.

So long Louie, it's been awhile since I saw you. We had some Good Super Bowl Party times. You've been out of sight, never out of mind though. Rest well my Friend, see you again one of these days, No rush though. R. I. P. John Cochrane

What a tribute from a daughter when she said it was her honor to have Lou as a father!
