Best, Margit J. died Sunday September 10, 2017 at her home in Fruitland, WA.   She was born on February 6, 1928 in Lincoln, WA. To Glen and Rosine Emerson.  She grew up on the family farm in Fruitland, WA.  Graduated from Columbia High School in Hunters, WA.  While in high school Margit met and later married her high school sweetheart, Donald Best.  She was a loving wife mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.  She loved growing roses and gardening.  She was a great seamstress and sewed for her daughters and grandchildren.  Margit is survived by her husband of 69 years Donald, daughters Donna Cokusis (Rick) and Charlene Dryden (Del), numerous grand and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Janis Reed, grandson Daniel Dryden and brother George Emerson.  Funeral services will be held at the Hunters Presbyterian Church On Saturday September 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  To leave a note for the family please visit hennesseyfuneralhomes.com
