Neil LeRoy Peckham

Neil Leroy Peckham passed away on March 13, 2024, due to complications from pneumonia. Neil married Glenda Kay Stevens the love of his life, on October 26, 1957. The couple was married for 62 years before Glenda’s passing in 2019. They now walk together in heaven’s garden, reminiscing times of old. Neil was born October 6, 1938 in Mason City, WA, to Clayton and Nora Peckham. Neil was a lifelong resident of Hillyard in Spokane, WA. He attended Arlington Elementary and Rogers High School. Neil is survived by his sister Noreen Brown (Gary). Neil has 4 other siblings, Ave Turner, Adeline Swan, Clayton Peckham and Kenny Peckham, all proceeded Neil in death. Neil has 5 children, Renee Gomez, Neila Turner, Rocky Peckham (Kim), Lisa Bower being (Tom) and Cindy Kurtzhall (deceased). Neil loved family gatherings, the outdoors to include camping, hunting, gardening and just puttering around. Neil also loved to spend time in his workshop creating anything and everything. During his younger years Neil would be working on cars which he would reminisce with children and grandchildren. Neil was a true patriarch for several years leading the way for 14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. The funeral will be held March 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Hennessey Funeral Home in Spokane, WA. The burial will take place at Riverside Memorial at 12:30 pm.
