I did not personally know Mr. Stiley but ran into him so to speak two times. He was defending someone in court one day back in 1994 or so and I happened to be in court that day and his booming voice got my attention and he really impressed me with his brilliance with law. I always kept his name and number close by after that in case I ever needed a great attorney. The second time I saw him he was at a blues festival and lovin life dancing on top of a picnic table all by himself. It was great. Rest In Peace, Sir.

Pat always kept me smiling inside the courtroom and laughing outside the courtroom. There was no one like Pat and I have remembered him laughing fondly over the years. He taught me many life lessons just by breathing. The world is a much better place because he was here...God bless him. My prayers and love to his family.

Pat was my attorney and friend. I always respected his talent as an attorney, and his wit in general. My prayers are with his family.

Patrick has been my employer, my friend, my hero. He was a brilliant attorney, a champion of causes, a true and loyal friend, and an irreverent observer of life. The world is a poorer place without him. I will miss the sound of his voice, the sound of his laugh, and his absolute brilliance when discussing the law.
