My dear husband, you have been gone for four years now. I keep very busy, but I miss you every minute of every day, and I love you forever. Your faith in God is my inspiration, and I am trying so hard to keep our little church going, because you loved it so much, and so do I. Please stay close to me, and pray for Plymouth. I love you.

This is Memorial Day weekend; our anniversary is next Saturday. You would have been 78 three weeks ago today. It has been two years and seven months since you left. I miss you terribly. I love you forever.

Bob inspired us, and helped us in so many ways. We are better off for having known him and loved him during his visits to Yuma. Bon Voyage Bob.

Thank you so much, Burt and Arlette. He loved being with you all, as did I - the Yuma time is one of the things I will miss most. Love, Janet

My Sweet Cousin, losing a spouse is heartbreaking but we both know he is with his Father in a much better place. Cherish your memories and know that you are loved.
With love, Gloria

I am so sorry for your loss. Bob's presence enlivened our very tiny congregation during some of the winters he spent in Yuma. I feel fortunate to have known him and will miss his passionate enthusiasm and generosity. May his memory be a blessing to you and your family.

Dear Leone,

Thank you so much for this. I did not have a number for you (yes, I know, Bob did, but I haven't been able to find his phone list), so I didn't know how to let you know. Bob loved all of you in Yuma so much - I'm having a hard time knowing I'll not be visiting him and all of you there any more - but I will be down some time to manage the property so I'll plan to see you then. Could you please let the Swansons know about this? And tell them I love them.

Again, thank you so much. Please keep in touch - I included my email - if all of this works the way it should.

Love, Janet

We pray God's peace and comfort to you in the days ahead.

I was an Ilwaco boy and Bob was a Long Beach boy and we met as freshmen when we started high school. I loved basketball and Bob and Ross loved cars. He was a nice part of the Class of '60......and we sure hate to lose him. We are so sorry for your loss.

Bob has been a small part of my life for longer than I can remember. I don't recall the first time I met him, but I do remember going to visit him and having the flu in the 80's. Janet and Bob helped me with money for college and have been a big part of helping our daughter at her time at Gonzaga and WSU. It was nice knowing there was someone to call if needed. You will be missed. Enjoy the big car show in the sky!

We met Bob and Janet on a church trip to Israel in 2015. We quickly became “bus buddies” and it was a lot of fun to get to know both of them. Bob was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed by many people. We are praying for you, Janet and for all of your family. May God bless and keep you on this new journey.

We are saddened by the news of your loss, Janet. Bob had a great sense of humor and a Renaissance-man quality about him. We will treasure the good times with you and Bob always. May he rest in the peace of the Lord. love, sheron and joe

We are left to mourn a great man, who loved and was loved, by a great God. May the peace of the Holy Spirit give comfort, and may grace lead us on.
