November 2, 1946 ~ August 14, 2017 (age 70) 70 Years OldShare Tribute:
On August 14th 2017, after a determined battle with ALS, Robert Mario Scuderi, dear husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend joined God and his heavenly family for a great reunion. He was born in New York City to Sam and Mary Scuderi on November 2, 1946. Bob spent his child hood and early life in New York until he joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and served in Vietnam before eventually being assigned to Fairchild AFB. This is where he met the love of his life, his wife Maureen. During their 48 year marriage they had 2 wonderful children Ross and Kristi and 3 handsome grandsons Andrew, Blake and Sam. Bob was a long-time employee at Sears as a custom decorator and will be remembered by many of his clients and co-workers. Bob and Maureen made many of us jealous and enjoyed many winters in Sun City West, AZ. This is where Bob rekindled the second love of his life- senior league softball. In fact, there's a good chance he's involved in a double header right now. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Mary and brother Col. Richard P. Scuderi. Survivors: wife, Maureen Scuderi, son Ross Scuderi and girlfriend Makala, daughter Kristi Hopfinger, son-in-law Andy Hopfinger and three grandsons, Andrew, Blake and Samuel. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 19th at 11:30 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 505 W St. Thomas More Way with a luncheon following the service. Private inurnment will be at the Eastern Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake, WA. Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to ALSSO, P O Box 48177, Spokane, WA 99228.
