  • Greg Finch
    Greg Finch, Licensed Funeral Director

I was born in what was once the small town of Whitefish, Montana. At about ten years old, my family moved to central Washington where I graduated High School and then college in Ellensburg, WA. After a brief career in law enforcement, I chose a career in the funeral industry, which I feel is a better way of serving my community.

After obtaining my Funeral Directing License in 1999, I have served the communities of Yakima, Seattle, and now the Spokane area. I am proud to live in the Spokane area and have made my home in Liberty Lake, WA. I married in 2008 and I am the luckiest man in the world to have my wife Teri. This union brought me a beautiful wife and three wonderful children, Valerie, Asia and Drake.

I am active in our Liberty Lake community with various events around the lake. I am an avid fisherman and a current member of the Spokane Walleye Club. My wife and I also own and operate Liberty Lake Children’s Academy, a private academic pre-school located just east of the Home Depot in Liberty Lake, WA. My faith is strong and serving the community of Spokane is a good fit for me.

After six years now working with Chuck Hennessey and my team members of Hennessey Smith Funeral Home, I look forward to many more years proudly serving the community of Spokane and the surrounding area.

Thank you to all the families who have given me the privilege of helping them through what often times is, the most difficult time of their lives.
