Albert John Prudente Jr

It is with great sadness the passing of a devoted husband, father, poppy, brother, uncle & brother-in-law. Al lost his courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in West Philadelphia, moving to South Jersey where he raised his sons AJ & Andrew and eventually moving to Spokane, WA. Al is an alumni of St. Thomas More High School. Al retired from the Casino Industry in 2018. Al loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is adored by his wife Barbara of 47 years, son AJ & daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Collin, Drew and Sebastian. His loving sister JoJo, brother-in-law Ed, brother-in-law’s Mike (Wendy) and Steve (Marissa), nephew Sean (Sharon), nieces Dana (Gabe), Lauren (Chris) and Kelly (Stephan). He also leaves behind his beloved dog Buddy. Preceded in death by his son Andrew, parents Al & Jessie, in-laws Orlando & Estelle. Al was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his grandson and friends on the golf course and loved his Philadelphia Eagles. He touched so many people’s hearts and was a wonderful mentor to many and will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the St. Thomas More Alumni Association (PO Box 294, Drexel Hill, PA 19026) which is an organization that was close to Al’s heart. The family looks forward to sharing a Celebration of Life with everyone at a later date.
