Anne M Calabro

Anne Mary Calabro went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 4th 2021.
She is survived by her five children: John, Paul, Theresa (Spencer), Agnes (Crisp) and Thomas; as well as her daughter-in-law, Sandra Pagliaro-Calabro, her sons-in-law, Patrick Spencer and Trey Crisp, her two grandchildren, Scott and Anne Crisp, and a step granddaughter Ruby Rieser.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Calabro (1991) and her companion of many years, Bob Barbaro, whose company she enjoyed for many years during their travels and many fishing trips. Anne traveled the world extensively and visited many places, but her home was in Spokane where she lived these past sixty-seven years.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA. in 1934 and moved to Spokane with Lawrence in 1954. After many years raising her family, she returned to school and earned her degree from Eastern Washington State College and she worked as a substitute teacher for the Spokane School District for many years. After she stopped teaching, she worked for some twenty years at the Sear’s Call Center in the Spokane Valley.
Anne was active all her life and in addition to traveling and fishing she enjoyed camping, golfing, gardening, playing cards and cooking.

She will be missed by all her friends and neighbors who will forever remember her selfless kindness and generosity.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no services.

She is at peace now!
