Hillyard, Ashley Nicole – age 27 – was unexpectedly taken from us in a tragic accident Friday afternoon February 9, 2018.  She is survived by her beautiful 5 year old daughter “Jena”, her “mini me” Jenavieve Madyson Hillyard and Jena’s daddy Travis Gilchrist; her parents Chuck and Jenny Hillyard; her big brother Charles (Joy) Hillyard; a niece Kim and nephews Nick and John.  Ashley had many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family  and friends.  She was recently  preceded in death by a grandma Patty Ellis, also grandparents Charles and Georgia Hillyard, grandpa John Ellis and a cousin Luke Ellis.  Ashley was a very spirited young lady who was very protective of her family and those she loved.  One of her favorite things to do was camping with her big family and group of friends.  She loved Twin Lakes, Sullivan Lake, Priest Lake, and had lots of fun in 9 mile on Long Lake.  She loved her pets.  Sprocket was her first baby.  Ashley loved the outdoors, camping hiking, snowboarding, jet skiing, 4 wheeling, swimming and biking.  She grew up in Nine Mile Falls, graduating from Lakeside High School in 2008 where she had many fond memories and friendships she cherished.  She was an accomplished gymnast throughout her school years.  The shining star of her life was her daughter, Jena, her “mini me”.  Ashley will always be with us in our hearts.
