Such a beautiful and kind soul. I fell in love the moment I met Barry. How could anybody not love such a great soul. I am so sad for the children that are living without this wonderful man. My condolences to Barry’s brothers and sisters, his two sons and daughter. I know he loved you kids more than life and did everything to make sure your needs were met. What an awesome dad, son, brother, and friend he was. The world is a little less bright without Barry in it. I am so thankful for his good friends hanging with him through everything. I will always remember his special soul!

Barry,
I went to look you up on Facebook last week. I was finally wanting to get back in touch with you after 3 decades of wondering how you were. I am in a huge state of shock! You were such a beautiful and perfect person. You were always so full of life and now you’re gone.
I have always loved you and now, I will always have a Barry size hole in my heart. I wish I would have stayed in touch with you. I will adore your memory forever.

Yup, that's the Barry I remember. All those complimentary words are true. A good and inspiring guy. He added good work and good cheer to the world. And a wonderful video you guys made with a great choice of music, that magical song: I had the time of my life ...... God Bless you Barry and all the Cronkhites. Aloha Tim Brislawn.

The world has lost a shining light. You were such a happy person, and always ready with a hug, and a smile. You'll be missed.

You were always such a kind, caring person and will forever have a place in my heart. The kindness you showed to my Mom when you painted our house? I will never forget that. Sneaking a puff off my cig through the screen on my window when you were on the roof. You had such charm and being around you was a joy. You lit up a room and had a certain aura surrounding you. May you rest in peace my friend.

Wow, I am just stunned! Barry... what a remarkable human! I have known Barry since childhood and have always known that he was a rare and special human. Barry and my father, Tom Green were long-time and dear friends. Barry and my Dad considered each other brothers. I can still hear Barry's laugh! I will cherish the many warm and meaningful memories I have of him. I am sorry to all of you- I wish you peace and love.

Today I looked at all our old pictures to get together for your slideshow for your funeral. I am feeling so very sad. There should have been many years left before that was needed. You were my first love, the father of my oldest son and an eternal friend. Though we didn’t talk much in recent years I always knew you were there and would have moved mountains if I needed your help. Gone way to soon and you have left many who cherished you friendship. I know this is difficult for your family and I profoundly feel this loss with them. Forever Rest In Peace my very good friend
