Betty Harding was born April 15, 1919 in Spokane WA to Harry and Ethel (Berg) Swanson.  She graduated from Mary Cliff High School and attended Meryl Hurst College.  She married George W. Harding on December 27, 1941 and he was stationed at various Air Force bases.  The couple later divorced.  Betty was employed at the First American Title Company in accounting.  She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Parish and was active in the Altar Society.  She was also a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary and a former president of the Zonta International.  Betty is survived by nieces and nephews, Nancy Millgard, Spokane, WA, Sue Muellerleile, California,  Tom and Jeff Swanson, Spokane, WA, Paula La Grange,  Seal Beach, CA, Matt and David Dickinson, HI, Carolee and Randy Kraut, Camus, WA.  Preceded in death by a sister Mae Ann Asimus, Spokane, WA, a sister Alice Dickinson, Spokane, WA and a brother Harry Swanson of California.
