Charles T. (Chuck) Stadtmueller (age 66) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 14, 2021, at Sun Up Bay, Idaho. He is the first born of Albert A. (Al), and Lois M. Stadtmueller, and was named after his grandfather’s Charles J. Fulwiler and Theodore F. Stadtmueller.
Chuck was born and raised in Spokane, where he attended Gonzaga Prep and later Gonzaga University, graduating with a degree in Accounting and earned his CPA license. He spent his early career working in Seattle and Los Angeles eventually returning to Spokane where he joined the family accounting practice Albert A. Stadtmueller & Co. PS. He enjoyed working with all of his clients.
He was fortunate to meet his wife Mary and was wed on September 22, 2012 Their life together marked the beginning of a very happy time. Their thoughts centered on family, especially their children and grandchildren, along with Chuck’s dad and brothers. They hosted many family gatherings at the lake. He was an amazing stepdad to Katie, Greg and Greg’s wife Megan, and a beloved Papa and shared a special relationship with each of his grandkids.
Chuck participated in the Rotary Club and Knights of Columbus, however, if he had a favorite, and being that Chuck enjoyed a good laugh, it would be his weekly meetings with his friends, affectionately known as the ‘Bored’ Meeting.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Lois, and he leaves behind his wife Mary, his father Al, four brothers Daniel, Alan (Kim), Gary (Aude) and Roger (Becky), stepdaughter Katie Lowderback, and stepson Greg (Megan) Dimeling, three wonderful grandchildren Sage, Stella and Henry, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, February 20, at 11:00 am at St Augustine Catholic Church in Spokane. The Rosary will be recited before Mass at 10:15 am. Chuck’s ashes will be inurned at Holy Cross Cemetery.
