David Hugh Montgomery Jr

August 25, 1994 ~ August 4, 2020 (age 25) 25 Years Old

Tribute

David grew up in Gifford, WA the majority of his life before moving to Spokane, WA and shortly relocating to Tukwila, WA where he graduated High School then shortly moved back to Spokane, WA.

David was the 3rd youngest of June and David Sr. Montgomery’s family. David just recently received his Associates degree from Spokane Falls Community College, all while working full time as a Gaming Technician for Northern Quest. He lived with his loving girlfriend Vanessa and their two adorable dogs Pluto and Cosmo. Seeing David around Vanessa made him glow with happiness and you could see it in his face and the way he talked with her. It was amazing to see him so happy.

David made a difference in so many lives with his loving, warm, quick witted personality. David was so unbelievably creative; he entered many art shows with his unique masterpieces. He was also crazy smart and had such a love for math and was studying other languages as well. He was accepted into Washintgon State University and planning to study Electric Engineering, he was getting ready to move to Pullman, WA with the love of his life and dogs.

David was also the sweetest guy ever, even through all of the life challenges he faced. I can’t even describe how funny David was, he always had the perfect timing to say the funniest things, and he had the best laugh too. Another thing I admire about David is he rocked his own style and had no fear of other people’s judgements (we all want to be more like that, I know I do.). David's recent new found hobbies were fishing and kayaking, he was good at them in addition to really enjoying the time outdoors. He also found a love of traveling, he traveled to the Philippines, parts of Europe and Mexico.

David always wanted to check in on his family especially his mom June, he would frequently stop by her place to visit or take her out to lunch. He often planned trips to visit his brothers and sister for family time, holidays, BBQ's, and just to hang out connecting with everyone. He truly was a one of a kind soul. His life was certainly cut way too short, too soon, too sudden...

David will be dearly missed and remembered always by those he left behind. His family, all of his friends he considered family, his girlfriend Vanessa and their dogs will cherish the times they had with him.

David is survived by his Mother June Montgomery, Brother’s and Sister; Shane Montgomery, Samantha (Montgomery) Brisbois, Stephen Montgomery (whom were very best of friends), Cousin Stephanie Munson (whom grew up with him like a sister), Sister in-law Jenna Montgomery and Brother in-law Robert Brisbois. He also leaves behind 3 nephews and 2 nieces, grandparents, cousins, and a number of aunts and uncles to cherish his memories forever.

David you will always and forever be missed, deeply loved, and remembered for eternity, promise.

A private family funeral ceremony will be held at a later date.
