David Wayne Rizzuto

It is with love and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dave Rizzuto who passed away suddenly in his home at the age of 70 on 5/18/22.  Graduated from Shadle Park High school. Dave enjoyed and excelled in hunting, fishing, golfing and was inducted into the Spokane Metro Fastpitch Softball hall of fame. He was also an accomplished musician playing guitar, harmonica and singing.  Dave was a great friend to many and a wonderful brother, uncle, and son.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Georgia Rizzuto, sister Joyce.  Dave’s surviving family members are father Alexander (Sam) Rizzuto, brothers Terry (Connie) Rizzuto, Rich Rizzuto, Dean Rizzuto (Lesa), nephews Joseph Rizzuto, Nicholas Harper, niece’s Jamie Rizzuto (Chad) and Jenna Rizzuto. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who he cared deeply about.

Celebration of Life will be held at Eagles aerie 2 at 6410 N. Lidgerwood from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, July 9.  Please send any donations to the Washington Elk Foundation.
