Doneta Jeanne Hunt

          Doneta Jeanne Hunt, 93, of Spokane, Washington, passed away October 1st, 2021, in Spokane. She was born in Downs, Kansas, on May 3rd, 1928. Doneta attended Rogers High School, in Spokane, Washington. She married the love of her life, Jack LaMar Hunt, on March 17th, 1945, in Spokane, Washington. Together they raised three children and enjoyed 66 years of marriage.
          Doneta went to Cosmetology School when she was 16 years old. She always dressed very classy, ensuring that her hair, makeup, and nails were always perfect. She spent her amazing life being a wonderful, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved to bake cookies for Jack and all their friends, and the grandchildren. There were always homemade cookies in her house or a pot roast in the oven. She enjoyed playing card games and doing latch-hook craft projects. Doneta and Jack were snowbirds in Parker, Arizona, during the winter for 13 years. They always loved that time away from the snow and traveling in their fifth wheel and motorhomes over the years.
          She was survived by daughter Donna Jeanne Patrick (Hunt) and spouse Craig Patrick, son Larry James Hunt (deceased) and spouse Jennifer Hunt, daughter Dianna Blaska (Hunt) and spouse Steve Blaska. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
          She was preceded in death by her spouse Jack Lamar Hunt, and son Larry James Hunt.
          Doneta was very loving, and compassionate person. Her family meant more than anything to her.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N Division St, Spokane, Washington. Please check back for the formal obituary.
