Edward Donald Eberly

On the evening of March 31, Our Lord stretched out his hand and took "Don" peacefully home to be with him in Heaven.

At age 18, Don married the love of his life, Mary Woodruff, and cared for her for 70 years. Don was a carpenter, a jack of all trades, a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather and friend to many. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. For many years he was a volunteer firefighter and also  loved racing his motorcycle.

Don is survived by his wife Mary, sons Donald, Roy and John Eberly (Joni) and daughter Kathy Bennett (Paul Anderson), eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Our family wishes to thank Hennessey Funeral Home, Hospice of Spokane and Cheney Care Center for being so kind and gracious. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cheney Care Center in Don's name.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
