Elizabeth Suzanne Clanin

Elizabeth Suzanne Clanin (Marshall) died unexpectedly on June 23rd, 2021 at the age of 42 while at her home. Beth was born in Spokane, Washington on January 26th, 1979. She was the daughter of Suzanne Marshall-Lucas and Ted Marshall. She graduated from Eastern Washington University with her Master’s Degree in Social Work. She spent time volunteering at Hospice of Spokane, and served as a Patient Navigator with Cancer Care Northwest. She was a long-time practitioner of Vajrayana (Tibetan) Buddhism, having studied the highest meditation teachings from some of the greatest Buddhist masters of our time, and regularly attended service at the Tsinta Mani Choling Dharma Center. She will be remembered for her dedication to compassionate service, deep devotion to her daughter, love of family, and sharp wit. She is survived by Glenn Sandvoss (partner), Samaya Clanin (daughter), Sarah Bories (sister), T.J. Marshall (brother), and Amy Sobosky (sister). She was preceded in death by Sarah Elizabeth Marshall (grandmother), Theodore John Marshall (grandfather), and John Luke Daskalos (Grandfather).
