Gail Lynn Harms (63) passed away on July 21, 2018 after a long battle with Frontotemporal Dementia (early onset). Gail was preceded in death by her parents, George and Georgia Knowles, and her father-in-law Paul. She is survived by her husband Gerald (Jerry), her daughter Monique, her sister Vickie, her mother-in-law Virginia, brother-in-law Kevin (Karen). Gail attended John R. Rogers High School and was a member of the Pirettes marching unit. After high school, Gail got an AA Degree from SCC, as a medical secretary. She worked in the medical field for over 35 years. Gail loved to shop, dine, and go to the movies with her friends and family. She enjoyed walks at Manito Park and Finch Arboretum, vacationing on the Oregon and Washington Coast, and staying at Gene and Pauline’s house overlooking Puget Sound. Gail was an avid collector of Precious Moments, dolls, Beanie Babies, and bears. She loved decorating for Halloween and especially Christmas. Gail was passionate about animals, particularly gorillas and wolves; she often donated to animal welfare charities. She adored her chihuahuas, Princess and Lola, who were her constant companions. Gail’s family would like to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at North Central Care Center for their compassionate care of Gail over the past year and a half. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division St, Spokane, WA.
