Garrie Howard Grant

Garrie Howard Grant, age 73, of Reardan, Washington passed away December 11th, 2020 of complications from lymphoma at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Garrie was born in Sunnyside, Washington on June 21st, 1947. He graduated from Reardan High School, enlisted in the US Navy and served from 1966 to 1972 with the U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion, he was also a Vietnam veteran.

He married Bette Johnson in 1985 in Reardan. They spent 35 wonderful years together. Garrie worked in construction and was a proud 50 year member of the Carpenters Union Local 98 and 59.

He had an interest in anything mechanical. He was always working to improve the performance of his 1972 Chevrolet Hot Rod 4x4 that he used to participate in Truck Pulls.

Garrie was honest, kind, and a loyal friend who made a difference in every life he touched. He will be missed, loved and remembered by everyone who knew him, especially his wife Bette, great nephews Travis and Tristin, and his great niece Tera that he thought of as a grandchild.
