Gayle Susan Gabbard

Gayle S. Gabbard, age 67, passed away peacefully in her sleep early on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Avalon Care Center in Spokane, WA. She was born June 21, 1951, in Streator, IL. to Rex and Irene (Vandervort) Chapple. She was a 1970 graduate of Streator High School. She spent many years in retail for work. She found enjoyment in baseball and basketball and was an avid San Francisco Giants fan. She frequently found entertainment in reality TV. Gayle was a free spirited and homey feeling person who brought light and laughter wherever she went. She is survived by daughter Jennifer (Reynolds) Myers; 3 brothers and 2 sisters; step-father Edward Bundy; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. Family, friends and all those delighted by Gayle's presence are invited to Hennessey Funeral Home 2203 N. Division St. Spokane at 11:00 am Thursday, August 23, 2018, to reminisce, grieve and support each other. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
