Georgia Sue Hedley

Georgia Sue Hedley was born to Harold & Rosella Hutton on a farm in Manvel, North Dakota.  She moved to Spokane in 1957 with her mother and five brothers and sisters.  Georgia went to St. Patrick’s School and church in Hillyard and also went to Gonzaga University and Spokane Community College.  She met the love of her life in 1958 and she was married to Jim Hedley in 1959.  They were married for 58 years and Georgia was always happy and in love with her husband. She had one daughter, Susan L Hedley of Spokane.   Georgia was very dependable and hard-working all of her life.  She bought, repaired and managed many rental properties.  Georgia helped raise several brothers and sisters and helped many other people live up to their potential.  She was self-employed for over 48 years and was a very successful business owner.  Georgia was also a wonderful homemaker and hostess at their home in Spokane and at the lake in Idaho.  She was a faithful Catholic all of her life.  She is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Susan, grandson Jim Hedley II, brother Dale Hutton of Port Orchard, sister Johann of Fargo, North Dakota, many nieces and nephews and many friends.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28th from 1PM-5PM at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N Division.  A Funeral Service will be held there on Friday, June 29th at 1PM with a graveside service following at 2:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park.  Memories and on-line condolences may be posted on her tribute page.
