Harry Jack Lewis

Harry Jack Lewis age 79, of Spokane, WA passed away peacefully of heart failure on November 27th, 2021 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born in Spokane, WA on January 31st, 1942. He was the son of Harry and Julia Lewis of Spokane. His two siblings are Andrew Lewis (deceased) of Huntsville, AL, and Marlene Schuster of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by his nephew, Paul Schuster, nieces, Donna (Eddie) Prather, Helen (Adam) Tugan. He has eight great-grandnieces and nephews: Hannah, Sarah, John, Samuel, Rebecca, and David Schweiter; Caleb and Kyler Tugan. Harry graduated from Gonzaga University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music in 1964. He worked as a church music director for St. Peter’s and St. Joseph’s Catholic Churches. He was the president of the Spokane Swim Masters Club and member of the Spokane Bicycle Club. Harry enjoyed visiting with family members, watching “The Zags” play basketball, and helping family members with life’s challenges. His intellect and knowledge on a vast varieties of subjects made it enjoyable to talk with him. He made many new family members feel welcome and at ease with his whimsical way. He will be fondly remembered and missed by family, friends, and church members.
