Jacqueline "Jackie" McDougald

Jackie McDougald entered into rest September 9, 2018. Jackie was born in Ogden, Utah on February 13, 1929 to Edward P. and Lula Turner. Jackie and her three sisters Barbara (deceased), Connie (deceased), and Margie all attended Ogden High School. Jackie married her high school sweetheart Donald S. Green. Jackie and Don had three boys, Bruce, Max (deceased), and Jeff (deceased). The family moved to Spokane Washington in 1957 where Don continued his career as a pharmaceutical sales representative and Jackie began her career in banking with Lincoln Savings and Loan which later became Sterling Savings. Don passed away in 1965. Jackie married William J. Kelley (deceased) in 1971. Jackie and Judd enjoyed summers at the family lake cabin and traveling. Jackie was active with the Spokane Chamber of Commerce and engaged in other civic activities. Jackie married Dan McDougald in 1993 and was married to Dan until his passing in 2006. Jackie and Dan enjoyed their many friends and they were active in Dan's travel business. After Dan's passing, Jackie immersed herself in traveling with her friends, working at the bank, and was active in Pondarosa Republican Women and Red Hat. Jackie had a tremendous sense of style and an impeccable wardrobe. Her sense of style developed early when she learned to sew. She loved making clothes for her small children and herself. Jackie was surrounded by her many friends and family. She enjoyed people at work, her civic activities and her condominium board. Jackie is survived by her eldest son Bruce, three grandchildren Erin Comite, Heidi Edwards and Holly Davis, her daughter in law Candace Balmer, five great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews along with the members of her extended family. Thank you to Jackies many friends who were always there for her. Jackie was a wonderful friend and she was blessed to have so many wonderful friends in her life. Thank you to the caregivers who attended to Jackie these last few months.
