James Joseph Lang

James Joseph Lang, 74, of Spokane Washington unfortunately passed away on September 1, 2021, of Covid complications and a weak heart at Kadlec Regional Health in Richland, Washington. James was born in Spokane Washington on November 23rd, 1946. James Graduated from Rogers High School and received his AA degree from Spokane Community College where his two young children got to watch him graduate. He enlisted in the Army and proudly served in active duty from 1969 to 1972. He raised his 2 children on his own while working as a commercial fisherman for a few years. He then became sanitation specialist for over ten years at Sacred Heart Hospital. He had a passion for traveling and being near the ocean, as well as spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren. He was a loving father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed and never forgotten by the family and friends he leaves behind.

He was survived by his children Daughter Rachel Lang of Spokane Washington and Son Bruce Lang of Spokane Washington. His brother Wayne Lang, Arthur Kurtzhall Jr Seattle Washington and sister Kimberly McNamee both from Spokane Washington along with nephews Gregory Lang His Wife and their children of Rearden Washington and Jamison Lang of Benson Minnesota, nieces Nichole McNamee and Kristina McNamee of Spokane Washington and lots of grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Blanch Kurtzhall and Father James Virgil Lang.

A visitation will be held for the public on Monday September 27, 2021, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
A private graveside veterans service will be held for family and close friends on Tuesday September 28th, 2021.
