June passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024, in Tacoma, WA. She was born April 7, 1942, in Spokane, WA, graduated from St. Aloysius Grade School, Maycliff Highschool, attended the University of Idaho, Gonzaga University, and received her master’s degree in social work from Eastern Washington University. She devoted her career to social work and counseling and was known for her generous spirit. She will forever be missed.
Survivors include her husband Jim of 48 years, where they reside in Gig Harbor, WA; sister, Florence Losh; niece, Georgi Cusick (Greg); nephews, Phil Losh, Jim Giampietri; stepdaughter, Tami; sister-in-law, Kay; nephew, Dillion; and many other family and friends. June is preceded in death by her parents Phil and Sophie Naccarato, and brother Alfred.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., April 19, 2024 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Spokane, WA, officiated by Father Tom Lamanna. June will be interred at the Holy Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
