Katherine Fisher

Katherine (Katie) Wilma Balloch Fisher, 74, of Spokane passed away peacefully in her home due to complications from dementia on April 24, 2021. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 6, 1946 to the late Alexander and Betty Balloch. She came to the United States in 1966 to work as an Au Pair. She moved to San Francisco in 1967 where she met and later married John Fisher on November 24, 1967. Together they raised two children and were happily married for 53 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with her four grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, John Fisher; children, Craig Fisher and wife Cheryl, Cari Quirarte and husband Dylan; grandchildren, Jack Fisher, Antonio Quirarte, Leah Quirarte, and Cruz Quirarte. Funeral services will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home on May 1, 2021 at 2:00pm.
