Keith Alan Anderson

Keith A. Anderson, 56 years old, of Spokane Washington entered heaven and was reunited with his mother on October 10, 2018. Keith was born on January 30, 1962 to Lloyd and Arlene Anderson, the only son of 5 children. Keith enjoyed volunteering at the Spokane Humane Society and caring for the animals. He also took joy in winning medals at the Special Olympics. Keith spent more than 15 years building friendships at Peaceful Valley Community Center where he enjoyed arts and crafts. He loved food, music, reading and writing. Keith was an avid Star Trek and Steelers fan. He was an amazing son, brother, and uncle who brought so much love and joy to everyone that knew him. Keith brought a smile to anyone he met. Our lives were richer for knowing him and will never be the same without him. He was preceded in death by his mother Arlene, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his father Lloyd, sisters Diana (Jim Somerville), Cheryl (John Riley), Patty (Joe Keane), and Kim Taggart. He also leaves behind 8 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would also wish to thank all the many doctors, nurses and aids on the 8th, 1st, and 3rd floors for all the care and support Keith and the family received during his stay at Deaconess Hospital for the past few months.

A visitation will be held from 9am to 11am with service starting at 11am, October 20, 2018 at Hennessey Funeral Homes, 2203 North Division Street. Grave side service will be held at 1pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 North Wall Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spokane Humane Society.
