1939 ~ 2021

 

Ken ( he also answered to Kenny, Lovee and Uncle Lovee) was born in White Plains, New York, August 9, 1939 to Louis and Lucy Gerard. He joined the U. S. Navy at 17 years of age, and served aboard the U.S.S. Iowa. He was active duty for four years, and later joined the Navy Reserves and served 20 years as a Sea Bee.

 

His early career was with Pacific Bell Telephone as a phone installer. He later apprenticed as an electrician and earned his journeyman credentials and worked as a journeyman electrician until his retirement. After retirement, he and Lynda had a llama rescue in Clayton, WA.

 

Ken is survived by his wife, Lynda; sons Jeff(Jen), and Ben; brother Tom (Katie) and sister Lois(Bill); nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

 

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Winston and Lawson, and sister Maria.

 

No services will be held, but join us in raising a glass in a farewell salute.
