It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Larry James Bacon. Larry is survived by his wife of 47 years Rose Bacon, brother Bruce Bacon, 5 children and their spouses. James Bacon and his wife Amy, Bonnie Johnson and her husband Kenneth, Tina Kehoe and her husband Dennis, John Bacon and Rory Bacon. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with 2 more great grandchildren due in April. Larry had 4 years of college, he was a brake mechanic, carpenter, bus driver for district 81, and a jack of all trades. Larry proudly served in the USN for 4 years. He was known around Spokane for his selfless acts in the food bank industry and was loved by everyone in the community that he came in contact with, Larry always left a smile on their face and memories in their hearts. He loved to crack stupid silly jokes and had one infamous phrase… “I’m not sleeping, I’m just resting my eyes”. Anyone that knows him knows his deep love for black coffee and coca cola. Larry just loved people and life, in closing is a special message from his wife Rose “Damm it Larry James Bacon. I was not ready for you to leave. Who am I going to talk to? I miss you so much. When we are together again we will talk and take our Sunday drives.”
