Lorraine Andrea (Peltier) Alden

        Lorraine was born to Peter A. and Rose A. (LaBelle) Peltier in Spokane WA.  She has two brothers, Rene' A. Peltier (deceased) and Dennis A. Peltier (Carey).   She grew up in Hillyard and attended Saint Patrick's Church and School. Pictures show her in front of St. Pat's with her graduating class.  After WWII she married her childhood sweetheart, Wayne A. Alden. They shared a loving and rich marriage before his death. 

Lorraine has four daughters from a previous marriage: Kathleen Bise (deceased) (Earl), Grace Elverum (Larry), Bonnie Shashani (Ahmad) and Millie James. "Lorraine's Litter" includes ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She doted on all the grandkids, especially the babies.  She was much loved and we aspire to be like her. Her grandchildren and families made special trips to be with her and celebrate her love of life.

Lorraine was exceptionally kind, loving, and accepting of all people.  Her heart was to help the poor and needy.  She joined the Franciscan Order in the 80"s. Her love and dedication to her Brothers & Sisters in Christ knew no limits. Being Franciscan gave her life the purpose she always wanted.

She was not wealthy but she had riches beyond gold & silver.  A loving heritage passed from her mother down to her children and beyond.  We Will Miss You Greatly
