Louise King Burbank passed peacefully in her sleep August 29, 2018, in Spokane, WA. Louise led an exciting, culturally aware, and intellectually stimulating life. Louise was a teacher in California and Hawaii for over 25 years. She was an accomplished artist and potter. Honolulu Academy of Arts exhibited one of her pots, which pleased her immensely. She gave away many of her most beautiful works. Her many friends will miss her dearly, as we will. The world was a better place because she was in it. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Russell A. Burbank, and her eldest daughter Ann Burbank Nelson. She leaves behind her son Russell K. Burbank, daughters Beverly Burbank, Christine Burbank Edwards, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A memorial will be held at a later date. Please donate to the ACLU in her memory. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. You are welcome to leave an online condolence for the Burbank family.
