Madeline Mary “Mollie” Hively  was born December 6, 1914 and passed away at home February 24, 2018. She was born in Malta, Montana and moved to Spokane in 1924. She attended St Francis Assisi Grade School and Marycliff High School. She married Donald Hively in 1934 and was married for 66 years. During World War II she worked at Galena Air Base “Geiger” Spokane, Washington. Mollie and Don raised two children, Donna and Michael. She enjoyed camping, knitting, gambling, puzzles and her grandkids. Once Don retired they traveled frequently over 22 years in their 1978 Minnie Winnie Winnebago. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald, her sisters; Leona, Anita, Marion, and her parents; George and Leta Casselman. She is survived by her daughter Donna Kroetch, her son Michael (Elizabeth) Hively, five grandchildren; Bryan Hively, Karrie (Rod) Bright, Larry (Meshia) Kroetch, Sherrie(Duane) Gerrior, Stashia (Joshua) Kaiel, 9 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Thanks to Dr. Lochner and Nurse Wanda for great care. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Horizon Hospice, 123 W Cascade Way, Spokane, WA  99208 or Shriners Hospital, 911 W 5th, Spokane, WA  99204.   Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1st from noon-6PM with a funeral service at 6PM in the Rose Chapel at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N Division.  Graveside service will be Friday, March 2nd at 11AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N Wall.
