Margaret Mary Oliver passed away December 14, 2017.  She was born on October 2, 1920 to Ronald and Ruth (Leonard) Glover. She had a very active life at 97 still driving her car and walking around without any help, but there was a walker in the corner that she could have used. She used to tell stories about her grandmother on her mother’s side coming across the United States in a covered wagon. When she was a young child, her father built a house of logs with a dirt floor so hard that they swept the floor with a broom. Then she would tell stories about her grandfather on her husband’s side that was the founding father of Spokane. Margaret’s kids and their kids still visit the Glover mansion on the south side of Spokane. Margaret had four boys only two have survived her, 15 grandkids, 29 great-grandkids and four great-great-grandkids. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1 PM in the chapel at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.
