Marian Lorraine Gants

We sadly lost Marian Gants on March 22, 2021. Marian was born in Gary Indiana on July 26th, 1938. While growing up in numerous locations Marian and her family landed in Spokane where she attended North Central High and graduated in 1956. Along with Larry Gants, husband of 58 years, Marian raised a family in Spokane where she remained until her passing at 82 years old.

Marian's lifelong passion was the theater. As an accomplished actor and producer, most of her work was on the stage of the Spokane Civic Theater but that also extended to television and motion pictures. The Spokane Civic Theater is where she met, then worked and performed with her husband Larry for several decades. Marian volunteered her time to the Spokane community through The American Cancer Society and Meals on Wheels.

Marian, Mom, Princess, Ma, GG Ma is survived by her husband Larry Gants, sons Shawn (Erin) Gants of Spokane and Colin (Colleen) Gants of Des Moines WA; grandchildren Steve (Katie) Gants, Jacque (Bryan) Alves, India Gants, Beaumont Gants, Meara Gants and Garrett Gants; great grandchildren London, Sutton and Ronin Gants. Marian had four siblings - Arlene, Steve, Diane and Robert (who preceded her in death earlier this year).
