Mary Lee Ellen Holweger

Mary Holweger, 58, of Deer Park went to be with the Lord on April 9th, 2021.  She was born in Long Beach, California on February 13th, 1963 to John J. and Velma J. Bono.  Mary graduated from Deer Park High School, Class of 1981.  She was married to Ken Holweger.  Together they raised 3 children and enjoyed 39 years of marriage.  Mary was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She was a passionate preschool teacher for over two decades, inspiring young minds and positively influencing countless individuals with her kindness.   She had a passion for reading, crafting, and antiquing.  Mary is survived by husband, Ken Holweger; children, Merisah (Jem) Helm, Alex (Ashley) Holweger, and Olivia (Tyler) Mattson;  parents, John and Velma Bono, Phoebe Holweger; grandchildren, Ryler, Rowan, and Cade; siblings John (Daniel) Bono, Scott (Molly) Bono, Bonnie Hoffman; nephews, Trevor, Justin, and Jack; nieces, Tiffany and Kristina; fur babies, Ruby, Marlee, Sloan, Ellie, Maple, and Zoey.  Mary was loved by so many and will be deeply missed, but she will never be absent from our hearts and treasured memories.   A Viewing will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with Rosary at 6:00 pm, Friday, April 16, 2021 at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division St, Spokane, Washington.
