Sleeth, Mary Bea, age 90, entered into rest May 8, 2018. She was born October 23, 1927 in Spokane, WA to Jerome and Beatrice Corkery. Mary Bea attended Holy Names Academy and graduated from EWU. She married William (Bill) Sleeth on September 18, 1948 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Her Catholic faith was an integral part of her life. Mary Bea was a founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and school. She had a strong faith. She was a volunteer and benefactor of many charitable organizations. She was fun-loving and loved to boat, snow ski, water ski and golf, always with family. And she was pretty darn good at all 4! She and Bill loved spending time at their Sandpoint lake cabin, again with the family. They loved to travel extensively in retirement, including 15 straight years in Mexico with their dearest friends. Survived by her husband of 69 years, Bill Sleeth, Sr.; two sons, Bill (Mary Ann) Sleeth, Jr of Spokane, WA and Paul (Laurin) Sleeth of Issaquah, WA; a daughter Molly Sleeth (Lee Windham), Spokane; a son-in-law Bob Eager of Wishkah, WA; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a sister Patty McCurdy of Tekoa, WA. Preceded in death by a daughter Muffy Eager and her and Bob’s son Brian; a brother Jerome Corkery. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Heart Retreat Center or Morning Star Boys Ranch.
