Miranda Marie James McGraw died on November 2nd, 2020 at the age of 29 in Spokane, Washington after battling on-going health issues.
Miranda spend most of her life as a resident of Juneau & Kake, Alaska. Miranda moved to Spokane from Alaska, to help raise her close friend’s son for the last four years. Miranda has spent the last 3 years working with youth in residential treatment programs.
Miranda was a veteran of the US Army National Guard, where she devoted 4 years of service. Miranda enjoyed a variety of hobbies such as cooking, hiking, backpacking, as well as spending time with her friends and family. Miranda loved to lighten the mood with jokes and making others smile. Miranda is remembered with these words from friends and family;
“Protector, helper, jokester, kind hearted, a patient spirit.”
Miranda is survived by her parents: Mother, Dorene Hopper, Step-Dad, Michael Hopper, Father, Clifton Howard, Marla Howard, Biological Father, Kevin McGraw, Siblings: Sisters, Alicia James & Jasmine Howard, Brother: Clifton (Kip Jr.) Howard III, Grandparents: Arne James, deceased Donald James Sr., Aunt: Delphine Brame, Uncles: Donald James & Dale James, Niece: Kimberly, Nephews: Dakota James, Jayden James, and Alexander Howard, Siblings: So many other siblings on the Clifton-Howard side of the family, so many Aunties, Uncles, and Cousins.
She will be missed dearly and loved by so many.
A funeral service was held on November 9th, 2020, at Hennessey Funeral Home on Division.
