Nada Elizabeth Packer Anglesey 1926-2019
Nada passed away in Spokane, WA on May 15, 2019, at the age of 92. She is survived by her children: Mike (Debby), Julie Bates (Steve), Roger (Marcia) and Steve (Eileen). She leaves behind a beautiful and large posterity of 23 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Nada was born to Elmer and Hannah Packer on August 23, 1926, in Basalt, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Wendell. They grew up together as they were married when she was 17 and he was 18 on January 25, 1944.
They raised their family in Pocatello, Idaho and Great Falls, Montana before moving to Spokane in 1962. She worked for The Ridpath Hotel as a switchboard operator for several years but loved being home with her children.
She enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, reading and being with family. Nada was well known for her famous “Carrot Cake”.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A family graveside service will be held the morning of the Memorial Service.
The memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 2721 E 63rd Ave. , Spokane on Thursday, May 23 at 12:00.
