Patricia A Lynch

Pat was born April 26, 1929 to Walter and Dorothy Waul in Montrose SD. She passed away April 4, 2022 at the Hospice House in Spokane, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Kay and Jean and former husband Bill Lynch. She graduated from Providence Academy in Vancouver, WA and in 1952 married Bill. They moved to Seattle, WA and started a family. In 1960 they moved to Spokane, WA where Pat perfected the title of mom. She spent those years making memories for her kids and their friends. She enjoyed sewing, playing bridge, skiing, ice skating, and golf. She had a love for music, a beautiful singing voice, and she played the piano into her 70’s. The favorite family memory is the annual trip to Priest Lake. With her family grown, Pat worked for SFCC in the administration and financial aid departments, where she formed many friendships with her coworkers. After retirement she took up Tai Chi. She walked year round through Riverfront Park with a close group of women. She enjoyed the Symphony and theatre. Pat’s solid Catholic faith kept her involved in many prayer groups and Bible studies. She was an Alter Society member at St Charles and St Anthony’s parishes. She also was a lector for many years. Pat is survived by her children Mike(Stefani), Tonasket WA, Dan(Jodi), Kimberley, OR, Kathy Loe(Mark) Spokane, WA, and Chris Sandpoint, ID, her granddaughters Kellie, Shylla, Theresa and Chrissy who all have fond memories of spending time with grandma Pat, the great grands Penelope, Addi, Will and Harvey . We are saddened by her passing but we are grateful that she is at peace. A Rosary will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 12:30 pm with Mass to follow at 1, at St Anthony’s Parish, 2320 N Cedar St, Spokane WA 99205. A reception will follow in Wilson Hall.
