Patricia Jeanette Schrager 86yrs passed away late in the evening at Avalon Care center in Spokane on July 24, 2017. Patricia leaves behind two daughters Marsha L’Fay and Linda Kracht and three sons, Robert [decreased] William and Raymond Green. My mother lived a life she choose and in the manner she desired. She was married to Bert Schrager for over 40yrs. Mom lived most of her life with her husband in So. Calif. Together they created Schrager’s Custom Cues which gained some renown. Mom had many grandchildren and Great grandchildren who visited her at Avalon. Some of her favorite visitors were grandson Jesse Kracht, granddaughter Lisa Dyar and Great-granddaughter Chelsie Mitchell who brought her gifts and joy in her last years.  Even though her health declined and she struggled with memory loss her sunny and humorous spirit remained intact. She was well cared for while at Avalon and was a favorite with staff. Mom never meant a stranger and would start a conversation with anyone. Mom was a kind and compassionate person and had many friends and people who loved and cared for her. She loved to fish and vacation in the Cascade Mtn. Wa. in the rivers and streams. This is where we will bring her ashes to rest. She loved fishing with her mother and step-father Bill & Caroline [Babe] Capp. Her sister Carol and brother-in law Fred Lacroix precede her in death and were her two favorite people. Lynn and Ron Lacroix their children were especially loved by Mom.
