Patricia “Pat” Ann Wirth
Patricia, Patty, “Pat” Ann Wirth joined her heavenly Father October 17, 2018. Pat was born in Owosso, Michigan on January 20th, 1932 of Sarah and Patrick Sinnott. She was the loving wife of Mike Wirth whom she married in 1951. Together they had eight children, Marie,1952-1975, Jeff (Pam), Janet Provinsal (Ron), Barbara Miller, Robert Wirth 1958 - 2009, Margaret Rasmussen, Carol Wirth, and Bill Wirth (Debbie). She is survived by six of her children, and her grandchildren: Jonathan and Laura Wirth, Jane and Trisha Provinsal, Thomas and Sally Miller, Jackson Wirth Justina Nelmar, Alisha Jackson, Shawna Miller Kelly Allen, Nolan, and Max Wirth and nine great-grandchildren.  Pat was the second youngest in a family of six brothers and seven sisters and is survived by her sister Rose Senrud of Owosso. Pat loved the Lord and her family. While her husband, Mike, taught finance at WSU, she managed to create the most welcoming, organized and loved filled home imaginable. She served as the Sacred Heart Catholic church secretary for several years and hosted many church dinner discussion groups. Pat served her family like she served the Lord. Her life’s work was grounded in her unshakable faith in God. Pat was the consummate host to her children, grandchildren, and friends; always making sure to have everyones’ favorites on hand and decorations up for the holidays. She welcomed everyone. She loved baking, coffee, jazz music, tending her roses, the laughter of little children, and snuggling with babies. She will be missed by all, but we know she is in the presence of her beloved Lord. Please donate to Hospice of Spokane in lieu of sending flowers. A rosary is planned for Sunday, October 28th at Hennessey Funeral Home at 4:30 in the Rose Chapel.  The Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Monday, October 29th at 10 AM with a reception to follow at the church.  The graveside service will be at 2 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Please share memories and express condolences at this site.
