GONE FISHING

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, born in Spokane on May 29, 1955 completed his journey here on earth November 4, 2017. Ray met the love of his life, Janet, when they were 12 years old. They later married November 2, 1974 and had two children, Jennifer (Beau) Swope, Eric (Fiancé Shanelle Coffey), six grandchildren; Austin, Matthew, Promise, Nathan, Anthony, and Cece. He worked for Scafco for over ten years then in auto sales until he retired in 2007. Ray was very much a family man and enjoyed RC racing with his grandchildren, attending their sporting events, baseball, camping and fishing. He always looked forward to his many vacations with his wife and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Mary, his brother Richard, and his in laws, Tina and Tom Kubas.  He is survived by four brothers; Larry (Linda) , Tom ( Jeannie), Randy (Donna Sue) Eddie (Jodi), five sisters; Sue (John) ,Patty (Ron), Rosie (Mark) ,Linda (Bill), Sandra, and numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Heidi Ho. Ray’s love and commitment to his family and his great sense of humor will forever be missed. We send special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff who took part in taking care of Ray. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov 11 at 11am, Holy Cross Mausoleum, 7200 N Wall.
