Ricky A Buchanan

Rick left us unexpectedly on November 18th, 2021 after a short intense battle with Covid-19.   He is survived by his sisters; Shirley Weyerman (MT), Marcia Armentino, children; Heather (Joaquin) Villalpando, Ricky L Buchanan Jr, Mariah Buchanan, Michael (Angel) Buchanan, Matthew (Kimmie Gullett) Buchanan, several nieces, nephews, and adored grandchildren.

He will forever be remembered as a fun-loving, caring, smart ass Husband, Brother, Father, Uncle, Papa and Friend by all who knew and loved him.

Words cannot express the loss we feel. Gone to soon but never forgotten. Until we meet again Old Man….

A Celebration of Life will be held December 5th,2021 at the Southside Community Center 3151 E 27th from 2-5 p.m.  Please join us in celebrating Rick (aka Pops, Papa) as he would have wanted – family, friends, food, and lots of laughter.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Breakfast with Santa at the Southside Community Center in Rick’s memory for his grandchildren.
