We were saddened to hear of Bob's passing last week. We had the privilege of living next door to Bob and Sue for 6 years. During that time our children were young and our older son took to Bob as one would take to their grandfather. He would watch Bob work in his yard and me in ours and would then copy us by mowing the yard with his plastic grocery cart. Our kids didn't want to move when the time came and a big part of their reluctance was leaving our neighbors. Bob was a kind, gentle man with a quiet sturdiness that made you feel that everything was OK. He was one of the good guys. We haven't seen Bob and Sue in years, yet the memories remain today.
Sue, we're so glad you had Bob for all those years and grieve with you for your loss. May the Lord minister to your heart during this time of pain and loss. You are in our prayers.
