Robert Radka, 87, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022 in Spokane WA, after a long battle with Parkinson’s and Osteoporosis. He was surrounded and cared for by his three children, Kathy Radka, John Radka (Lyn) and Leonard Radka, all living in Spokane, WA.

Born in Cleveland Ohio, he spent his childhood growing up with family eventually meeting his future wife Rosemarie Kabasan in 1957. They were married in August, 1961. Robert was proud to have served in the United States Air Force serving a total of 20 years including three tours in Vietnam. In 1977 he retired to Spokane, WA. He worked for Keytronics Corporation for 19 years designing & building computer keyboard components. He was an avid Mechanic, Plumber, Electrician and all around handyman who literally could fix anything and was often found working on neighbors’ homes even into his early eighties. His hobbies included flying planes, building & flying model airplanes, woodworking, boating, camping & gardening. Robert will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Anna (Jech), wife Rosemarie (Kabasan), sister Helen Surgala (Bernie) and brother Albert Radka (Kathy). He is survived by his sisters Marylou Keller (Robert), Margaret Koenig and brother, John Radka, all living in Cleveland, OH. Robert has five grandchildren, Sarah Cook, Katie Davis, & Bobby Radka, all living in Oregon, Michael Radka, of Spokane and Cameron Radka (Amber) living in Boise, ID. Robert also has three great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Malaysia & Emberlee, all living in Oregon.

Visitation is from 3-4 pm at Hennesey Funeral Home. A memorial will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11 am with interment to follow right after.
